Biography

Hannah has a style categorised as funky and slick; a work ethic often described as dedicated and determined; and a personality that’s full of life that makes her a pleasure to work with. She is a professional versatile dancer based in London with a desire for brilliance and the skills necessary to help you bring your vision to life.

Her professional experience includes touring nationally and internationally with multi award-winning artists; working with international choreographers; dancing alongside artists live and on film; choreographing ensemble and solo pieces for showcases and tours; as well as hosting workshops and teaching in numerous cities.

She was technically trained at Rubicon Dance; however, she has learnt the majority of her craft through immersion in the underground scene in Liverpool, and through ongoing development in open classes with industry professionals in London and across the UK. She is therefore proficient in commercial, hip-hop, tap, locking, house, waacking and contemporary.

Underpinning her dance expertise, she also holds a first-class honours BSc in Psychology. She uses her knowledge of how people absorb information; how art can influence emotions; and how to increase audience engagement via the use of dynamics, all in order to inform the movement she creates.

Extra to her dancing, Hannah works to improve the inclusion of LGBTI+ individuals and works to remove the stigma surrounding mental health in the working environment. She does this by sharing her story of “coming out”, by sharing her experience of mental health and how she recovered from depression, as well as by providing solutions to create more inclusive environments. She believes that sharing your own vulnerabilities can show others they are not alone and helps people to be more understanding generally.

In conclusion: She is an experienced creative with an expertise in people, who injects personality and a story into every performance. Hannah is looking to work with like-minded creatives who care about others, who have a high quality of work and are passionate about the projects they work on.
